Artist Point

I use palette knives and modeling paste to provide a unique texture to these paintings that is not only visual, but touchable. Don't be afraid to experience this with your fingertips too. Artist Point is in Monument Valley, Utah. It's a Navajo Tribal Park with many interesting red rock formations. They stand like giants above the surrounding flat grounds making mankind seem tiny. If you have not been, I can strongly recommend it. This is the first in what I hope to make a collection of some of the other formations.
