Flower Gift

Using acrylics like watercolor, I tried to capture the delicate flowers and porcelain bowl that holds them. This reminds me so much of the flowers my grandmother might boldly display from her garden on the dining room table surrounded by her best china. I find the colors calming and my mind wonders in and out of each bloom following the lines. It's almost therapeutic to get lost in the arrangement.
