Marching Trees

Painting these trees reminded me of the Wizard of Oz scene where the soldiers marched out in an endless parade that I thought would never end. Trees fade into the background and distant hills, but you know they are there and coming to life. I was excited to be able to capture the distance with lighter tones and a hint of fogginess. 

Since this is relatively flat, it's perfect for framing.
