Pink Meadow

Pink is my favorite color so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to fill this meadow with a profusion of passion pink flowers. The tall trees stand watch over the meadow and connect the sky with the ground with bright foliage of their own. I use palette knives and modeling paste to provide a unique texture to these paintings that is not only visual, but touchable. Don't be afraid to experience this with your fingertips too.

I'm so proud of this entry winning first at the 2025 State Fair, Landscape Division of the Teachers and Professional Category.
