River Run

Panels are the perfect size and format to get playful. Here I played with the blues in the background to set a tone for the painting. Then added the bright tree in stark contrast to the scene. I treated this acrylic like a watercolor using light layers to build up the components and then heavier layers to add weight to the rocks and trees. 

Since this is relatively flat, it's perfect for framing.
