Urban Night

Urban Night is the first in a series of paintings that contrasts the big city with nature. The line of trees almost looks like bars on a cage. The question is if we are keeping nature out of the city? or preventing the city from spilling into nature? I'm fascinated by this imagery and wondering how far I can push it with various colors and backgrounds.
